DISTEARYLDIMETHYLAMMONIUM CHLORIDE - Preparation method

Open Data Verified Data

The direct amination of octadecanol and methylamine in the presence of a copper ternary catalyst yields dioctadecylmethylamine, which is then reacted with chloromethane to obtain the quaternary ammonium product, dioctadecyldimethylammonium chloride.
